Purpose of Job

The Floating Support Worker is expected to lone work with the staffed provision in North London and also visit all the unstaffed accommodation within The London Borough of Enfield, utilised for the provision of supported housing/accommodation for young people/adults, usually aged 16 to 24 years old.


The frequency and timescales of property/client visits/attendance will be as requested by management and you will be expected to undertake the duties listed below.


Person Specification Summary

The Floating Support Worker (FSW) will be a suitably qualified support worker with relevant experience working with young people/adults, usually aged 16 to 24 years old.


The FSW will be computer literate, well versed with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook and have a good level of communication both written and verbally.


Qualified to NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent as a minimum, the FSW will have a good working knowledge of how to suitably support clients within this service and be able to evidence the delivery of relevant client specific and compliant support.
